A character is a well rounded human who’s life you are given a peek into. A well rounded character is one who has a defined personality and a strong point of view. Everything from the characters name and physical attributes, as well as their backstory, wardrobe and biographies falls under character development.   

Developing a believable character, who the audience resonates with is just as important as creating a compelling story directive. Learn how to develop memorable and believable characters to support your story!  

The flow of the workshop will be as follows:

-Creating an elaborate description 

-Exploring characters from prominent films  

By the end of the workshop, you will get a chance to showcase your work or any future work to Anusha Rao!

The fee includes stationary and refreshments during the workshop along with a meal post the session. 

About the Host: 

Anusha Rao received her Associates in Science of Film from Los Angeles Film School. An engineer by degree, she was born into a household where films were beyond only stress busting. Writing was always captivating with its power to influence minds. She heartily credits the level of maturity she lives with today, to filmmaking and its art of screenwriting.  After her undergrad, she worked for one of the most renowned production companies in India, Arka Mediaworks. Her experience in marketing and distribution taught her the significance of filmmaking and the essence of teamwork. Knowing the effect films have on the human mind, her ultimate goal is to excel in the art of screenwriting and develop stories in and around human conditions that leave a memorable mark.
