Paper Carving Workshop

Psaligraphy or Paper Carving is a challenging and rewarding hobby, and this workshop will give participants the opportunity to master the craft in a supportive environment. Dating back to the 4th Century AD, it has a rich history and is a significant part of many cultures. Heres your chance to be a part of preserving this cultural tradition. The process is a calming and meditative activity, making it an excellent form of stress relief and relaxation. Psaligraphy is a beautiful and meaningful art form that can be used to create stunning works of art.

In this workshop, you will learn the following: 

1. Introductions & History of Papercutting
2. Difference between Doodle and Drawing
3. Difference between Symmetric and Dynamic Drawings
4. Practice & learning the technicalities
5. Do's and Dont’s of Psaligraphy

About the Instructor - Neetu Sam, an Engineering Graduate with an inclination towards creativity and adventure, started her journey as a solo traveler since 2016. The learnings which came in the path of travel gave her a understanding on her truecalling. That's when she envisioned a dream that culminated into this young brand, Artijori. Neetu is a teacher who turned into an artist. A photographer selected under top 100 woman by Canon India under the project ‘iClick. She's a certified Art Therapy coach and a Yoga trainer certified from Ministry of Ayush.
