About The Event

Cinematography is the art of photography and visual storytelling in a motion picture or television show. It sets and supports the overall look and mood of a film’s visual narrative using lighting, framing, composition, camera motion, camera angles, film selection, lens choices, depth of field, zoom, focus, color, exposure, and filtration.

In this workshop you will walk through the 5Cs of cinematography - Camera Angles, Continuity, Cutting, Close-ups and Composition practically.

You will learn from Naveen’s on set experiences and learn about - managing your time on sets, finding your strengths and weaknesses, and seeking the best solutions on the spot. Towards the end of the workshop, you would have created a story using your new skills and reviewed by Naveen. 

Post the workshop, you can seek guidance and feedback on your work by the best and most sought after in this space by Naveen Yadav.

The fee includes refreshments during the workshop along with a meal post the session.

About the Host:

Naveen Yadav is a full time Cinematographer in the Telugu Film Industry, successfully shot over three feature films (Ko Antey Koti, Yevede Subramanyam and Appatalo Okadundevadu) among various other corporate films, documentaries, music videos etc. He also shot Gods of Dharmapuri 2019 for Zee5 and Pitta Kadhalu (Pinky and Xlife) for Netflix OTT platforms. He is an avid traveller, venturing to the Maha KhumbaMela (which can be witnessed once in twelve years), trekking and shooting along the way to Basecamp of Mt. Everest , riding through the Indian highways on endless roads etc. He uses these experiences to understand understand human emotions, discover India and beyond.
